Baron Silverlaine was the owner of the Shadowfang Keep back when he was alive. After his death, the castle fell into the hands of the archmage Arugal, and then the Gilnean noble Godfrey, who is the current self-proclaimed lord of the place. Silverlaine's ghost still haunts the halls of the keep and is now its second boss.
